In late 2013 I had just returned to te gym after a long absence. Even before I started training with “Bodies By TJ” Trent was friendly, welcoming and happy to offer form tips as I reaquainted myself with new machines and neglected muscles.
I decided that if I was going to be in the gym at 5am I might aswell bite the bullet, apply myself 100% and get my diet and training in order. I’d observed Trent at the gym with his other clients and seen how he motivated and encouraged them. Additionally what appealed to me was that he didn’t rehash the same old exercises and tired “cookie cutter” routines that I’d seen the other trainers repeating. I wanted something personally tailored towards my fitness goals and my lifestyle. I wanted to get stronger, fitter and equally as important, I wanted to become more knowledgable. I wanted the “how” but also the “why”.
To that end I signed up to the “Bodies By TJ 40 Day Transformation”. Trent was fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about the guy as a trainer and as a person. I was extremely pleased with the end result and although a lot of hard work was put in (by both of us) I enjoyed every minute of it. Trent’s enthusiasm and willngness to share his knowledge and experience meant that even after a punishing leg session or gruelling cardio blitz I was pumped and looking forward to our next session. Trent spent a lot of time helping me get my form right for squats and deadlifts. Previously I’d been reluctant to adopt these key exercises due to a lack of confidence and training. Now I love both these moves and consider them an essential staple of my workouts.
From the first day onwards I was impressed with Trent’s dedication and professionalism. He asked plenty of pertinent questions that showed me he was totally across modern training methods. I’d never heard of “fasted cardio”, “time under tension”, H.I.I.T”, and the “mind muscle connection” to name but a few new phrases. Needless to say I became quite familiar with them over the following forty days. I invested in Trent’s philosphies and in return he invested in me.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Trent and his busines “Bodies By TJ” to anyone looking to make changes to their body and lifestyle. It is well worth the commitment. Male or female, it doesn’t matter, Trent is equally respectful to all his clients. So if you’re on the fence about stepping up and committing to the 40 Day Transformation or you simply want to take your training to the next level hopefully my results and words will provide the extra motivation you need. The results, the strength, the shape and the confidence that comes from training with Trent makes the sweat and effort tremendously rewarding and worthwhile.
